Join us for a fun-filled Mixer at Mad Bull’s Tavern in ShermanOaks!
Mad Bull's Tavern has great food, a Vegas sports-book atmosphere and a Valley location that offers for something hip and new.
Mad Bull's Tavern, about a mile East of Sepulveda on Ventura Boulevard has hit the tired theme on the bluesy, boozy bull's eye. It has a sleek open design, brick and iron décor with indoor/outdoor seating, floor to ceiling exposed brick walls, iron lamp embellishments, “mad bull” paintings, high tables and backed chairs, booths and more flat screen TVs than a Vegas casino, this is a place to eat and chill and watch every televised game of every sport imaginable. The place makes even bad games good.
The drink menu is extensive with over 70 beers, including craft, foreign and domestic (with 20 on tap). The custom cocktail menu, includes some mixology muddled gems such as the Gold Rush with Eagle Rare bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and honey; the Pisco Sour with Pisco, fresh lemon juice, egg whites, bitters; and the Eastside mixed with Tru Organic Gin, fresh lime juice, muddled fresh cucumbers and mint.
The food is also a revelation for this sort of spot - beer battered crawfish highlight a unique bar food menu with golden fish and chips, and Cajun-spiced French fries that make every beer even more refreshing. The beef sliders are delectable with warm, soft mini buns kissed with butter and splashed with tangy Dijon mustard. Better still is the lean, protein-mean Buffalo burger with crisp pickles and fat steak tomatoes.
Best of all, the place is stumbling distance for Valley denizens taking full advantage of the low-cost brews and spicy Blood Marys. True to its name, the prices are Mad and the atmosphere Bullish.
Mad Bull’s Tavern is the perfect place to come out and relax and have a couple of drinks, while mingling and getting to know new people! Its okay to come by yourself…you won’t be by yourself for very long!
