TempDB Best Practices
TempDB is not like your ordinary user database and should not be treated like one. We will explore what makes TempDB different than other databases and why you need to be aware of these differences. In addition to proper configuration we will go over some of the DMV’s used to track memory and space usage with TEMPDB. We will also cover contention issues you are likely to experience and what to do about them.
