Local Officer Training School (LOTS) is an opportunity for local Board members to learn more about how to be successful leaders in their local chapters.  In addition to spending time with your counterparts on the Michigan Jaycees Board, there will also be training sessions dedicated to the fundamentals that any Board member needs to know - recruiting chairpeople, running effective GMMs, etc.

Registration Check-in starts at 8:45 AM.  Opening Ceremonies begins at 9:30 AM.

General Training Sessions will be offered at 10:00, 11:00 and 1:00.  Please plan to attend three of the following eight sessions:

2.) Writing Great CPGs

3.) Effective GMMs

4.) Public Speaking Skills Workshop

5.) Communicating Through Newsletters and Websites

6.) Marketing and PR For Your Chapter

7.) Running Successful Information Nights

8.) Communication Styles

Position/Area trainings will begin at 2:00.
