Come Meet Up!

We're organizing the unofficial annual tweet/meet up. Come chat, start new projects, or learn from Med 2.0's diverse audience in Palo Alto. Your ticket will cover a beverage and light hors d'oeuvres. The event will take place after the Stanford Med 2.0 Social Media Summit on Friday, September 16th. Both conference attendees and non-attendees are welcome to join us.

When?

Friday September 16th at 8:00p at Lavanda, downtown Palo Alto.

Transportation?

While Lavanda is very close to Stanford, there is also the option of utilizing Stanford's free shuttle service called the Marguerite . The Marguerite schedule can be found here and a map of the Marguerite routes can be found here. We recommend the Shopping Express line from the Medical Center to the Palo Alto Transit Center, Lavanda will be about one and a half blocks from there.

Bringing together creative people from the Silicon Valley community in health communications, health industries and in tech to foster conversations about how health care communications and new innovations can help engage, educate, empower and improve the health of people and the community.

You might be a doctor that uses something as simple as email, or a programmer that knows what it's like to visit a doctor's office.... point being you are not required to be a healthcare or social media master to come join the conversation, all are welcome.

We think health - and health communication, innovations and tech are relevant to all of us and can help people understand and become actively involved in their health care, so let's talk about how we can all work together to manage challenges, improve and innovate!
