Hudson Views Yoga Hike

Join us for a moderately challenging and thoroughly enjoyable (you'll get a workout but won't be totally drained!) hike through the Hudson Highlands. We'll head up the backside of Mt. Taurus in the Hudson Highlands - a gradual climb with a short push to the top and the gorgeous views of the Hudson River and surrounding valleys.
The hike is a 5-mile loop, which will take us about four hours, including a leisurely stop for lunch. After lunch, we wind our way down through a beautiful forest, passing by a pleasant waterfall along the way.
Then, it's off to a nearby yoga studio for a class designed with your tired muscles in mind. We'll practice a slow flow with lots of deep stretching and restorative poses.
Our yoga practice is suitable for all levels. Beginners welcomed.
Wear stretchy comfortable clothing, pants, a somewhat fitted t-shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, and a light jacket or sweater if it is cooler. Think layers! Bring one more than you think you'll need - you can always leave it in the van.
Bring a backpack, water - lots!, lunch, sunhat, suncreen, insect repellent, sunglasses.
Included: RT transport to/from NYC, guided hike, yoga class
