2012 Annual Book Fair

The Virginia Festival of the Book is a five-day event in Charlottesville, Virginia, March 21-25, 2012.
The Annual Book Fair is a one-day event that takes place on Saturday, March 24, 2012 between 9 a.m.and 4 p.m. during the Festival (vabook.org).
While the Festival is held in venues throughout the region, the Book Fair is one day and is held in the Charlottesville Omni Hotel Atrium, amid two major streams of programming: Crime Wave mystery and thriller programs, including a Luncheon with author Jeffery Deaver, and Publishing Day events for aspiring and established authors.
We cannot guarantee sales, but the Book Fair receives excellent foot traffic and is geographically in the middle of some of the Festival's most popular events (Crime Wave and Publication Day). The Omni is the Festival headquarters.
Fees remain at the 2010 and 2011 levels. Tables are 3’ x 6’, skirted, with two chairs at a full table and one chair at a half table. Set up begins at 8 am, March 24 (no earlier) and break down must begin by 4:15 pm. All tables will be in the atrium; none will be in the meeting room corridors. Space is very tight and stand-alone displays must be kept behind one's space. If displays interferes with other vendors or the Omni's restrictions, the Festival reserves the right to have you modify the display.
