Event Details

 

Join us as we celebrate the end of another season of great music.  Saxophonist Javier Oviedo, Maestro Jean-Pierre Schmitt and Orchestra 54 are pleased to invite you to a concert benefiting the Classical Saxophone Project.  A “Meet the Artists” reception will follow the performance.  The concert will feature the world premier of "Wroclaw" Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra, written and performed by Pawel Knapik and “The Black and White Princess” by Philippe Treuille.

The Classical Saxophone Project

Created in 2007 under the name “Ovittmusic” and incorporated in 2012 as “Classical Saxophone Project”, our mission devoted to promoting awareness of the saxophone and it’s “classical” repertory. The project strives to enhance the status of the instrument through performances, recordings, and education.
CSP is a non-for-profit corporation benefiting music lovers of all ages by increasing access to live classical music. CSP also benefits struggling artists of all disciplines by showcasing their work in venues around the local area and around the world.
