Event Details

Attention all Girl Scouts Convention attendees! Start your Saturday morning off right with a leisurely walk, sponsored by Together Counts.

Join us on Saturday, November 12 at 7 a.m. at the corner of McKinney Street and Avenida de las Americas for a half-mile walk along Discovery Green Park, a 12-acre park in downtown Houston.

The walk is open only to Girl Scouts Convention attendees (and families) and will last around 45 minutes.

When you arrive at McKinney and Avenida de las Americas, please check in with designated Together Counts staff and then you can get started walking!  Dress is exercise casual and remember to fill up your water bottle and bring it along.

Please email Jessica.braun@edelman.com with any questions. You can also find out more about Together Counts on its blog and on Twitter (@TogetherCounts) and Facebook (Facebook.com/TogetherCounts).

See you in Houston!

Together Counts

Together Counts is a nationwide program inspiring active and healthy living. The principle behind our program is Energy Balance, which means balancing the calories we consume with the calories we burn. Calories in, calories out. Together Counts was started by The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation, a national, CEO-led organization, designed to help reduce childhood obesity by 2015.
