What is the Pitch Bootcamp?

The Pitch Bootcamp provides expert advice with real-world practice. The evening begins with talks by leading startup Founders designed to help you refine your skills. Then, you pitch in front of both experts and your peers to receive constructive feedback. The evening format is based on the best practices of the Founder Institute, the largest pre-seed incubator in the world. Pizzas and drinks will also be provided.

Who will be Speaking?
The Local Director of the Founder Institute, as well as some of the program's highest rated Mentors, will speak and provide feedback on company pitches. Confirmed speakers include:

• Filip Tack, Founder of Nomadesk - Filip is founder at Nomadesk, a leading provider of online storage, file sharing and synchronization software that enables users to access, share, synchronize and safeguard files from any location, whether online or offline. He bootstrapped the company and made it into a revenue generating SaaS-business, now geared for growth. Nomadesk was selected by the Guidewire Group during Innovate!2009 as "the most promising European startup" and is among the Red Herring Europe TOP 100. The company is venture-backed by Gimv and BAMS Angel Fund. Filip is a "startup executive": a business and team builder with a predilection for disruptive innovation and startup business (SaaS, Utility or "Cloud" Computing); raised over USD 10 million in venture capital.
• Walter De Brouwer, Director Founder Institute Brussels  - Walter is an internationally known Belgian entrepreneur, CEO of One Laptop Per Child Europe, director at Tau Zero Foundation, organizer of TEDx Brussels, and entrepreneur in residence at University of Cambridge. 
• Ramon Suarez, Director Founder Institute Brussels - Ramon is the founder and managing partner at BetaGroup Coworking Brussels, organizer at Startup Weekend Brussels, and a new media marketer and entrepreneur passionate about internet and mobile communications.

What is the BetaGroup?

The BetaGroup is the largest networking group for Internet, mobile and tech profesionals and entrepreneurs in Belgium, with more than 3000 members. Its main event is a pitch slam that brings together 7 startups and 350 people.
