Friday night (August 26)   is AHS's first home football game.  The ABPA runs the concession for all of the varsity football games.  This is the single largest money raiser for the band.  The monies raised are used by each of the school bands.  So, we need parents from Drake, AJHS and AHS to help in the concession. as your child is benefiting from the concession.   

We still need workers for each of the home games, but right now, we especially need 18 - 20  more people to help this Friday night.  Please check your schedules and see if this is a night you can help.

Remember:

• Please report to the concession stand at least 45 minutes early (no later than 6:15), please be there by 6:00 if possible.
• If you are signing up for more than one worker, please put all names in the registration.
• The Health Departments Requires:  No Jewelry (wedding bands OK), but no watches, other rings, bracelets.  Hair must be pulled back or wear a cap.  Kathy will provide aprons and gloves for certain jobs.
• Parking is free, just tell the gate attendant your name and tell them you are working in the band concession.  They will check your name from the list.
• Entrance to the game is free, but only for the concession worker.  All other family members must pay.  Go to the pass gate and have them check your name from the Concession List.  You must be on the list to get free entrance to the game.
• When you report to the concession stand, ask for Kathy Burch to receive your assignment for the night.
• The earlier you can report to the concession, the better.  There is always a lot of work that has to be done to be ready for the crowds.
• If for some reason you cannot be at the game, please let us know as soon as possible to ensure we have time to find a backup.
