"The Sound of Music" with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crous. Based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp.
This beloved musical, combined with the God-given talents of our students, is sure to be a delight. Set in 1930's Austria, the musical follows Maria, a young nun, who leaves the convent to become the governess to seven mischievous children of a strict naval officer, Captain Von Trapp.
There will be no ticket refunds or exchanges unless a show is canceled due to inclement weather. A canceled show will be announced on our homepage www.lbc.edu and on WDAC 94.5.
