Bill Scott on Abstract Painting
Lecturer: Bill Scott, artist
$15 ($10 members)
Bill Scott will present an illustrated lecture about his work, including his influences and his development from a still life and figure painter to an abstract painter and printmaker. He will also talk about some of today’s younger Philadelphia artists whose work he admires: Peter Haarz, Michael Ciervo, and Eric Huckabee. Scott’s work is currently on view in Woodmere’s Flirting with Abstraction exhibition. Wine and cheese will be served.
