Looking for practical strategies to deal with attachment?

Come to AFABC, network with other families and learn what you need to make your family's journey a little smoother!

This new workshop was launched in Spring 2007 to great reviews!  If you are interested in creating healthy parent/child attachments in your adoptive family, this half-day, hands-on workshop is for you. Come and learn how to recognize attachment difficulties and take home some practical strategies and resources.  Pre- or post-adoption.

Logistics: Park in any 'reserved for AFABC' spot in the lot in front of the building.

*** Please call us to find out if this workshop is wheelchair accessible. ***

AFABC

AFABC is a non-profit organization that provides province-wide support services and information to people who are beginning to think about adoption, people who have decided to adopt, and those who have already had a child or children join their family. AFABC also plays a significant role in promoting awareness of the thousands of BC children in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development, who are waiting for a family.

AFABC was started around a kitchen table in 1977 by a small group of adoptive parents who needed to share ideas, information, and support.
