Event Details

LBC will host the second annual Lancaster County Intercollegiate Band Festival featuring the symphonic bands from Elizabethtown College, Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster Bible College, and Millersville University. This unique musical event will combine the sounds of over 200 musicians under the direction of the four conductors from each college. The excitement of great symphonic literature combined with the precision of college instrumentalists adds up to an evening that brought last year’s audience to their feet even before the last note sounded.

This is a free event, but a ticket is required for admission. Donations will be received to benefit the work of SWAN (Scaling Walls A Note at a Time), a work headed by Diana Vuolo, professional violinist and LBC adjunct professor. SWAN offers hope and help to children of incarcerated individuals by providing free music lessons, ensemble training, performance opportunities, and mentoring. For more information about SWAN visit www.Swan4Kids.org.
