Where does your water come from?  Does Wichita have enough water to continue to meet demand?  Water is vital for population growth, economic development and keeping our current manufacturing companies.  Denice Bruce, communication specialist for Professional Engineering Consultants and Deb Ary, supervisor of production and pumping for the city of Wichita Water Utilities will tell you how Wichita is preparing to meet its citizen's water needs.  The city of Wichita's Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) program is a unique solution that has attracted national attention and, to date, pumped $250 million construction dollars into our local economy.

About our Speakers

Denice Bruce is the communication specialist for Professional Engineering Consultants, where she has worked exclusively on the ASR program for the past year.  Her communication background includes a wide range of corporate public relations, writing, training and crisis communication. She holds a BA and MA in communication.

Deb Ary is the supervisor of production and pumping for the city of Wichita Water Utilities with a background in mechanical engineering.  She is responsible for municipal water treatment services, pump stations and water towers.
