Event Details

Preservation Houston, in partnership with Glenwood Cemetery, offers public docent-guided walking tours of the cemetery four times a year. These tours are available by reservation only.

Tour times and dates are subject to change in the event a burial is scheduled on the date of the tour or in case of inclement weather. Time changes will be posted 
on the PH website, and those holding reservations will be notified as far in advance as possible.

Please note that the tours are walking tours and that all vehicles will be left near the cemetery entrance. The route covers approximately 1.5 miles at a leisurely pace. There are no public restrooms available on the property.

Reservations for these tours are limited and will be guaranteed on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that it does not cost anything to make a reservation, but there is a charge for the tour.
 Admission to the tour is $10 per person ($7 for PH members and students), payable at the beginning of the tour by cash or check only. All proceeds benefit Preservation Houston, and checks should be made payable to Preservation Houston.
