Whiskey RiverONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT!  The word whiskey comes from old Gaelic and means the breath of life, and that goes a long way toward explaining why we need to go get a refill now and then.  This class is going to be a super overview of the wide world of whiskey comparing both styles, ingredients, and origins.  We'll taste a range of delightful liquids from moonshine (or silver whiskey) and sourmash through rye, Irish whiskey, and a rare single malt Scotch.  After class, we'll clear our palates and our heads with a dinner of Texas barbecue from The Village Smokehouse paired with cold bourbon toddies a la Faulkner.  Whiskey River, here we come!

Boston Wine School

A lot of people have never been to a wine class before, so let me tell you what to expect.

The Boston Wine School is a guaranteed 100% snob-free zone. No matter who you are. No matter how much you know about wine. We know how to make wine interesting and interactive for everyone.

Classes are small — usually 15 students max — and always start with sparkling wine, then bread, cheese, olives and antipasto. Expect to taste 6-8 specially selected wines. Weekend classes include dinner, featuring vegetarian options.

See you in class!
