to
accomodate
space for you at the meeting, but we cannot guarantee that we will have
a lunch available to you if you register past 10 am on Tuesday, Nov 1st.
We will accept on site registrations, to include payment by check or
exact cash. Registration fees remain the same on site. Campus parking permits will not be available on site. They must be obtained in advance with registration by Tuesday, Nov 1, at 10 am.
Come to Tallahassee to
enjoy some football weather and to learn about the new College
of Medicine at Florida State University. This 21st century
medical school has an innovative curriculum that prepares medical students
to become compassionate physicians as well as lifelong learners in
an era of explosive growth in medical knowledge and information technology. Our meeting will conclude with a tour of the Medical School's Clinical Learning Center, Electronic Medical Library, Teleconference Room, and Student Learning Communities.
The Thursday evening reception will be held at the University Center Club on
the FSU Campus overlooking the football stadium. There will be a cash
fee at the door of $5 per person.
A Continental Breakfast and
Box Lunch will be provided on Friday. Cost is $10 for HIMSS and N/CFHIMSS
members, $10 for students, $10 for College of Medicine Faculty & Staff, $20
for all others.
Recommended dress is business casual.

Driving Directions
From the Holiday Inn Select, head west on Tennessee St. Travel about 1 mile. Turn left (south) onto Stadium Drive (Bryan/Basin). The first light is Call Street, and the street you are on has just changed its name to Stadium Drive. The College of Medicine is to your left. Go thru the light, and pass the College of Medicine, a parking lot, a construction site, and then turn left into the new parking garage. You will park in the student area. There will be someone to give you a parking permit from 7:30-8:30 am, without a permit you may be ticketed.
To get to the University Center Club, continue on Stadium Drive and it will turn left at the first stoplight after the road turns to the left.
