Security Cafe is on the move. People working around Utrecht are more likely to attend our Security Cafe when it near and avoids traffic jams. Therefore we selected a new rial location: Everett in Nieuwegein.
Security Cafe is networkevent powered by Trust in People. Our Linkedin community is around 500 security members in the Netherlands. Het Nederlands Genootschap voor Informatici (NGI) geeft voor een deel invulling aan het Security Cafe op 20 september 2011 met een heuse STAND-UP COMEDY over informatiebeveiliging! Daar wil je bij zijn…toch? Jacob Spoelstra zal, met zijn geestige en friese ‘down to earth’-mentaliteit, een geweldig optreden voor ons verzorgen. Jacob is bekend van zijn columns in de Computable en hij heeft een eigen cabaretshow.
Het nieuwe bestuur van de afdeling informatiebeveiliging van het NGI heeft de ambitie om ons prachtige vakgebied eens wat vaker uit de comfortzone te halen. Het belangrijkste doel hiervan is werken aan het voorkomen van de welbekende ’Ivoren Torens’ en ‘ Tunnels’ met bijbehorend gedrag en werking. Het idee is om onszelf een aantal vragen te stellen, zoals: ‘hoe doen we het eigenlijk? En waarom doen het ook alweer zo? Zijn we nog steeds in staat om de dingen van meerdere kanten te zien? Hoe ver kunnen we nog weg van de ‘box'? Hoe zien anderen ons?.....’ Aanvullingen zijn van harte welkom!
Komend jaar staan daarom voor NGI een aantal leuke, inspirerende en vernieuwende activiteiten gepland en iedereen wordt hierbij van harte uitgenodigd. We starten dus met standup comedian op 20 september 2011 bij het Security Cafe.In november heeft NGI een groter event gepland, waarbij Business Gaming centraal staat. In samenwerking met Gaming Works nemen we jullie graag mee in de wereld van Business Gaming. UITERAARD gaan we aan de slag met de splinternieuwe game: Oceans99, gericht op Informatiebeveiliging! We houden jullie op de hoogte.
