“Survival Spanish: Travel” is the first in the Survival Spanish Series of courses at the library. These courses are designed for people interested in brushing-up on their Spanish skills.
The Travel Spanish will review essential language skills for travelling in Spanish-speaking countries. The course content includes travel-related vocabulary, how to ask directions (and understand the answer), and time to practice speaking and listening skills. A different Spanish-speaking country will be highlighted each week to give cultural interest to the learning process.
Participants should have a very basic familiarity with Spanish language, but should not be fluent or accomplished Spanish speakers. This is a beginners-to-intermediate level class.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis for all of the "Survival Spanish" courses.
