How good are you when you are under pressure, feel offended/ unheard, or notice that a conversation is taking a turn for the worse?
In this 2.5 hour professional training you'll find out. You will learn and practice an easy 4-step system for staying calm, listening through to the heart of what matters, and skillfully handling difficult (annoying!) people and situations.
This class is taught by Dian Killian, Phd, a renowned communications trainer, the Director of the Center for Collaborative Communication, and one of our favorite specialists.
This lab is based on Marshall Rosenberg's system of non-violent/ compassionate communication. Dr. Dian Killian is the Director of the Center for Collaborative Communication, a CNVC Certified Trainer, & co-author of Connecting across Differences: A Guide to Compassionate, Nonviolent Communication, and author of the Urban Empathy: True Life Adventures of Compassion on the Streets of New York.
