Event Details

The Orange County Branch History and Heritage Committee, HHC, of the American Society of Civil Engineers, ASCE OC, with the assistance of the County of Orange and OC Parks, will be dedicating a Local Historic Civil Engineering Landmark plaque for the Irvine Ranch Irrigation System at Peters Canyon Regional Park on Thursday, Septembwer 15, 2011, at 9:30 a.m..  The following speakers will participate in the plaque dedication ceremony: Ziad Mazboudi, PE, ASCE OC President; Bill Lawson, PE, HHC Chairman; Carl Nelson, PE, HHC Historian; Mark Denny, Manager, OC Parks; Bill Campbell, Orange County Third District Supervisor and Board Chairman. 

Refreshments will be provided following the plaque dedication ceremony.

Ample Parking is Available Just Inside the Peters Canyon Regional Park Entrance.  The Normal Parking Fee Will Be Waived for Ceremony Attendees.
