Through a generous donation, we have 15 spots available to offer Valwood Coach Training to church leaders in your association. (Only one per church please.) The cost for training and meals will be covered for the four and a half days participants are onsite PLUS the additional training follow-up steps (altogether a five-step process) will be paid for as well.

So what is Coach Training: Our Valwood Christian Leadership Coach Training program helps Christian leaders learn how to bring about change in their lives, organizations, and other people. A 'coach-approach' enables a leader to draw out the best from others, and move away from being the 'fixer' for every situation. Coach training will help you lead in new and effective ways.  

What’s its value to my church: Coaching is a wonderful tool to add to your ministry skills tool belt. It is often offers solutions more quickly and effectively than counseling and mentoring as it is considered a complementary skill to those. It is a valuable skill for anyone in ministry – from those working with the youth to those acting as administrators.

When and where: A brief online course needs to be completed in early November. Anticipate this taking part of an afternoon or so to complete. The onsite courses are held at Hollifield Leadership Center (6692 Valwood Road, Conover, NC 28613) starting Monday, Nov. 17, beginning at 3 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 21, ending at noon.
