PRETEENS/TEENS: Is It Anxiety, ADHD or Both?
Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM (PST)
Palo Alto, CA
Many people understand how anxiety and ADHD can negatively impact a child's ability to function at school, at home and in the community. But making distinctions between anxiety and ADHD is critical to getting the right help for your child. While the symptoms of anxiety and ADHD can look the same, they require markedly different intervention strategies. This class will focus on articulating the subtle differences between anxiety and ADHD so that parents can be informed advocates for their children.
Chris Harris, MEd, and Katherine DeVaul, MD
