Event Details
We would like to invite you to join our first Nathanael Greene Historical Foundation “Holiday Craft Blast.” The event will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the First Baptist Church, corner of High and West Streets in Waynesburg, Pa.
The Nathanael Greene Historical Foundation (NGHF) was recognized in 1994 to support and preservation of cultural activities and history in the Greensboro, Pa area. In 2005, NGHF refined its scope to develop a well received annual conference and arts festival called the “Creative Communities Conference” and the “Art Blast on the Mon”.
Now, in 2008, the Creative Communities Conference has been expanded to a series of monthly seminars known as “Second Saturdays” designed to discuss emerging activities and developments in sustainable communities, arts education, networks, co-op marketing and a number of growing areas valuable to rural communities seeking to attract artists, services and individuals to their community.
The final event in this series will not be a seminar, but rather a “Holiday Craft Blast” designed to showcase the creative talents in our region. We encourage you to be a part of this event where you will be able to exhibit your work to the public. We are looking for the finest crafters in the tri-state area.
Enclosed is an exhibit application, which includes further details. Please send your application in early so to get the discount on your space. Use our website to do it quickly and easily!
We plan to advertise heavily in the Greene County area including local cable, radio, as well as in local churches and school districts. If you have any questions please call Jeanne Stacher 724-627-3502.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your wonderful talents and goods. We look forward to hearing back from you soon.
