SAYCON SENGBLOH - an American actress and singer. Saycon was the first African American woman to play the starring role o Mimi Marquez in “Rent”, and the first Black woman to ever play Elphaba, in the Broadway play “Wicked”. She also played Celie in the “COLOR PURPLE”. She now stars as Sandra Izsadore in Broadway’s “Fela!”.
