Event Details

Black Pot Camp - October 23rd-26th!

 

Join us for a cultural camp, the week before Black Pot Festival, at the Lakeview Park in Eunice; Featuring classes in music, dancing, hands on cooking, and nightly dances and jams. All offered by your favorite cultural ambassadors, the Red Stick Ramblers and lots of their friends! 

It all kicks off Sunday night, October 23rd, with a communal Black Pot curing bonfire and Jam followed by a Barn dance Hosted by the Red Stick Ramblers & Friends.
Come for one day, two, or the whole shebang!

Ticket prices above do not include room & board.
Tent camping & camper spots available on site through lvpark.com

Howdy Campers! We're excited to bring you news from the future about Black Pot Camp's Schedule! Here's what the day might look like (Monday-Wednesday): 9am breakfast (til 10:30) 10:30am General classes (in fiddle, accordion, mando, singing, etc) 11:30am General classes 12:30pm Lunch 2:00. pm Band Classes (jazz/swing, Cajun, old time, honky tonk) 3:30. pm General classes 4:30. pm miscellaneous awesomeness such as: French and honky tonk song swaps, Guitar summit, fiddle diddle, "tell 'em bout dat sauce I cooked", accordion anarchy, etc. 6:00 Supper 7:15 jams with celebrity hosts, one on one classes and mini lessons, and a dance Lesson before the dance. 7:15
