Local filmmaker Saqib Mausoof's ambitious film weaves a tale along the fault lines that separate Paskistan's urban modernity from its fundamentalism.
Preceded by the extraordinary short, Midnight Lost and Found (Dir: Amit Sabharwal, US, 19mins), about the lonely nights of a Mumbai pharmacy-worker.
Tickets will also be available at the door for $10 for the film.
Kick off this year's festival with an unforgettable evening in the heart of San Francisco's bustling mission district. Join luminaries Rebecca Hazelwood and Manish Goyal (Kissing Cousins), local filmmaker Saqib Mausoof (Kala Pul) and special guests at Bollyhood Café/Little Baobab and partake in free-flowing conversation and libations into the night.
