GEW 2011 is at its 4th year.
During the past 3 years partners and catalyst partners have put together activities and events to Inspire the spirit of the enterprise in our respective communities.
Many have benefited from these events. We are in the midst of collating all the anecdotes and success stories of how GEW has impacted some to move their mindset from that of an employee to that of an entrepreneur or from that of a student thinking of looking for a job to one who wants to start a venture.
Without realizing it, we have together sparked an entrepreneurial revolution in the thinking of many whom we may not even know.
Where do we go from here?
We at the Secretariat on consultation with the Global Founders have come up with a one year road-map of inspiring more than 100,000 youth nationwide to think of entrepreneurship as an alternative career path and from this we aspire to launch 1,000 high-growth startups next year.
Thus the strategic goal of GEW 2011 is to Ignite Startups and the goal of GEW 2012 is to Celebrate Startups. We aim to run both year 4 and year 5 GEW as a single campaign.
We invite you to be part of this journey - not as a spectator but as the one who drives this agenda which is also in line with the global movement towards the creation of the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
Come to give us your views and feedback because GEW is your campaign.
