Yarrow's 5th Annual Mabon Gathering
A HARVEST HOME CELEBRATION
September, 23, 24, 25 2005
Camp Zoe, Near Salem, MO
Come celebrate the Mabon Sabbat with Yarrow Coven and friends in beautiful South Central Missouri! This will be our sixth annual gathering at what has become the last warm weather camping festival of the year.
This year we are gathering at Camp Zoe, home of Schwagstock, near Salem, Missouri. Join us for three full days of ritual, crafts, feasting, drumming, dancing, fire walking, swimming and much more! As always, our Mabon is family friendly. Besides families, we welcome folks following alternative lifestyles and diverse spiritual paths. It is a time and place where you can escape from your daily routine, connect with old friends and make new ones.
Cost:
Adults….$35.00
Children 12 & Under….Free
Tentative Schedule
Friday: Arrive, Relax and Set up camp, Opening Ritual, Drumming, Singing and Merrymaking
Saturday: Morning meeting, Workshops all day long for both adults & Children, Late afternoon Potluck (bring dish to pass), Yarrow Coven Main Ritual, Firewalking, Drumming and Merrymaking.
Sunday: Relax and enjoy the land, Closing Ritual at Noon, pack up camp and say goodbyes.
RULES, GUIDELINES AND SUGGESTIONS:
- All participants are expected to donate time to the community in any fashion you feel necessary. This includes ensuring a clean camp and keeping our space sacred.
- Please do not bring firearms, illegal substances or unregistered Guests.
- Alcohol may be used in moderation.
- Total nudity is allowed only after curfew and at the Adult Only activities. All other times require the genitals to be covered. Parents, it is your responsibility to oversee your children regarding the curfew, as well as, Adult Only areas and activities.
- This is a dog friendly festival. Pets must be kept on leash at all times. Owners are responsible for picking up after their four legged friends.
- Children must be supervised by parents at all times.
- Participants that create a danger to themselves or others will be asked to leave - No refund will be given.
Because family and children are important to Yarrow Coven,we do not ask for a donation for children 12 and under. Please include their names in the questionnaire form
Yarrow Coven is a Religious, Educational and Cultural Not for Profit Missouri Corporation. The Fees for this Gathering are considered donations. The money raised will offset our expenses for this event and other projects.
