That's right - someone is actually going to have a panel discussion on panels. We all have sat through some less than engaging panel discussions throughout the years, but now we are going to examine how to do panels right. We are going to take a playful look at the panel discussion and how to get the most from them.

Some of the topics that will be discussed will include:

Alex Blom

Alex Blom is the CTO & Partner at Helix Commerce, and is a co-founder of SalesChoice. He also sits on the advisory board to the Location Based Marketing Association. Prior to Helix, Alex founded and exited multiple technology ventures and troubleshooted large retail organizations. Sitting prior on council boards and heading marketing organizations in management, training and sales, he achieved distinction at one point as the highest grossing Business Development executive. Alex, also involved in high-tech investments, connects entrepreneurs with technology-based investors



Erin Bury 

After spending time managing public relations for tech companies, Erin joined Sprouter to better utilize her passion for networking, community-building & Web 2.0 technologies. Erin is an in-demand speaker who has led sessions at Podcamp Toronto and North by Northeast. She also comments frequently in the press about Community Management and entrepreneurship, and has appeared in the New York Times, Forbes, CNN, and the Financial Post. Casie Stewart

Casie is one of Canada's most well-known online personalities and a daily lifestyle blogger. In the last year she has been a spokesperson in social campaigns for Pepsi Canada, Puma Social, Virgin America, and Arm Yourself with GSK.
 
She started blogging in 2005 and became the social media girl for MuchMusic & MTVCanada. Nicole Simone

Late July (a.k.a. Nicole Simone) is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, blogger and social media savant. Born in Toronto, Ontario she spent her early years state side in Del Mar, California. After moving back to a suburb of Toronto, she began playing the guitar at the age of 13. She is a three time graduate of Seneca College and York University in arts, music and sociology respectively. In 2010 Late July released her debut EP entitled ‘Side Swept’ produced by Adrian Ellis followed by her 2011 LP release "Hospital Quiet". She is an avid blogger and participant in Social Media.

For over 15 years Joseph Puopolo has been a leader within the technology industry. Joseph has a deep background in the world of marketing, social media, PR, and business development. He has lead multiple projects and initiatives at several organizations including, Oracle, PROPHIX, MERGE and MAGIX, OPENapps prior to joining StickerYou. His expertise is primarily focused on building growth strategies for both established and emerging technology start-up companies.
