A three day course: 8th, 15th, 22nd September 2011
This recognised course aims to give practising or potential first line managers the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic leadership and management skills.
By completing the course, learners will increase their promotion and career opportunities, as well as improving their effectiveness within the workplace. Successful candidates can demonstrate fundamental skills required to help lead and manage teams of a variety of sizes and industries.

Course Facilitators
The course will be run by Sean Purcell, Head of Learning and Development. A qualified lecturer, assessor, co-author and an ambassador for the Chartered Management Institute, Sean has many years experience working in senior management in the educational circuit. Sean's last role was Head of Faculty at a large FE college in Essex. He has supported the development of many training, apprenticeships and learning programmes, as well as a strong involvement in delivering these courses.
