Course Decription:
There seems to be universal desire for the dental team to “roll” all of the information that we present to our patient into one big ball and have him/her make sense of it; decide if it is really needed, understand the consequence of not completing the diagnosed treatment and then decipher the value and benefit of that treatment when faced with making a decision about whether or not to proceed. This presentation will break down the process into three phases of “YES” answer gaining which visually equates to SUCCESSFULLY building that snowman one step at a time. It’s a fun way of involving the entire dental team in the plan!
Course Objective:
- Understand each team member's role in the treatment presentation
- Simplify the treatment process for the patient
- Identify the three components of the treatment presentation
