Event Details

A sensational evening of belly dance staring Autumn Ward of Brooklyn, NY. Join Sitamun, the Tears of Aset Dance Company, Lori Lepley of Eye of the Nile, Roya Ozel, Rio Jayani, Masani, Maya Taahira, Zariel El Katten, Melina, Troupe Barakat and other dance artists for an evening to remember. Music, shopping, friends, and light refreshments. Fun for all ages! Our featured performer is New York City-based dance artist Autumn Ward. Ms Ward is known for her sophisticated, elegant, and expressive style, combining the soft lyricism of Middle Eastern dance with the technical precision of classical tradition. Her technique reflects Egyptian, Persian, and ballet influences. Autumn's performance credits include numerous theatrical events, restaurant and nightclub engagements, weddings, and other private celebrations, in New York City, Washington, DC, and across the U.S. In November 2003 she was the opening dancer for "the most prestigious belly dance event in the world," the Sixth Awards of Belly Dance, in Hollywood California. Autumn currently teaches in several New York City locations; from 1999-2002 she was a faculty member at Washington, DC's Joy of Motion Dance Center. The two hour show starts promptly at 7:30 pm and last approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Scroll down to bottom of page to order tickets online.
