Disaster Orientation/Shelter Operations- This 3 hour basic disaster course is taught in 2 segments. The first segment is 1 hour in length and provides new and prospective volunteers with a insight into the Red Cross and its Disaster Services Program. The second segment is 2 hours in length and provides attendees with the information required to work as a ARC shelter worker.
Persons interested in attending this course must complete a volunteer application and Felony Background Check by Monday September 29th. Applications may be obtained by visiting the chapter office or visiting www.redcrosswnc.org
