This thing called Kanban

Abstract
Kanban is an emerging alternative to Scrum for doing agile software development. While the two methods share many of the same principles, they differ greatly in their implementation of the principles. Teams transitioning from waterfall find the change to Kanban more evolutionary and less revolutionary than Scrum, helping make it an easier first step towards an agile organization.

Join experts Ryan Shriver and Robin Dymond for an exploration of Kanban and how it compares to agile and waterfall methods. Learn how Kanban's focus on customer value helps teams reduce time-to-market and improve quality through continuous improvement. We'll also show how Kanban is more than just a card wall, and the importance of measurement, reflection, and improvement in a flow based development process. Robin and Ryan will get you going right off the start with the debut of their new game called Flowball! This game demonstrates the the underlying Lean principles of muri (load), mura (flow) and muda (waste) in a continuous process game.
