Volunteer with the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless. Volunteers will help facilitate patient activities at the Barbara McInnis House. The Barbara McInnis House is a 104-bed respite facility for patients that are too sick to be out on the streets or live in a shelter, but not sick enough for acute hospital care.The Patient Activities Program allows patients to engage in fun activities during their time at Barbara McInnis. Volunteers will help facilitate an art & craft activity, play video games on our Wii system, or play board games or pool. The afternoon is relaxed and enjoyable for both patients and volunteers!
Please avoid bringing large bags as there is limited place to store items.
