Part 1 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm
An audio / visual presentation by Bunita Marcus including an overview of Feldman’s creative life and the influence of rugs and paintings on his compositional process and orchestration. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bunita Marcus won't be joining us. But we still have a great line up. Event now starts at 3pm.


Part 2: 3:00pm  - 4:00pm
Conversation with Marilyn Nonken and Tom Chiu (of the FLUX Quartet) about how the physical, mental and musical challenges associated with playing Feldman’s long duration works. 

Part 3; 4:30 - 6:00pm
A lecture by Kyle Gann drawing on his essay "In Dispraise of Effeciency "where he succinctly reveals Feldman’s most important contributions and why he is one of the most important American composers in recent history.
