Integrated Corridor Management
THE SOUTHERN SECTION OF ITS CALIFORNIA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE NEXT IN ITS SERIES OF LUNCHEON MEETINGS ON TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THE INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM COMMUNITY
Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) is a congestion management tool that seeks to optimize the use of existing infrastructure by managing a corridor as a multimodal system – rather than managing individual assets. This workshop will present two of the ICM projects in progress to date. In addition, an overview of Caltrans’ District 8’s Corridor System Management Plans (CSMP) will be presented. A CSMP outlines the multi-jurisdictional and multi-modal management of a Corridor and provides a listing and phasing plan of recommended operational improvements, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) strategies, and system expansion projects to preserve or improve performance measures within the Corridor.
ITS-CA member cost = $25. (Includes lunch). Non-members = $35.
