International Green Construction Code

On May 20 Maryland became the first state in the country to authorize use of the International Green Construction Code (IGCC) for private and public construction.  USGBC MD led the effort to have the legislature enable use of the IGCC and is now working with local governments to implement the IGCC as a voluntary compliance alternative.

Unless you are planning to leave the state, you need to know, now, how the IGCC will change green building in Maryland.

Should buildings to be constructed in Maryland next year be designed now to take advantage of the IGCC?  And everything else you could want to know about the IGCC.
