Dr. John L. Robertson is the Director of the Center for Comparative Oncology (CeCO) and a professor of pathology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology in the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.

Over 20 vendors featuring clothing,handbags and more will fill the Crystal Ballroom for the annual Pink Ribbon Gathering Shopping Spree. Get a head start on your holiday shopping or treat yourself to something special!

Everyone who participates wins!

You have the opportunity to purchase one of 30 Fink’s balloons for $250. Each balloon will have a fantastic prize, a beautiful David Yurman heart necklace valued at $300 or one of three exclusive David Yurman bracelets, made specifically for the month of October and to raise awareness for breast cancer.The value of each bracelet is $500.  Any remaining balloons will be sold during the Pre-Gathering. We expect these balloons to sell out quickly, so pre-order them soon. During the luncheon, attendees will be asked to pop their balloons to discover their winnings, and the grand prize winners of the bracelets will be revealed.

Survivor Recognition
Presented by the Junior League of Roanoke Valley

Each cancer survivor will be honored with a special recognition gift during the luncheon, compliments of the Junior League of Roanoke Valley. 

Ribbons of Hope

 Once again this year, we will feature the Ribbons of Hope Garden. This moving tribute will honor those who have battled breast cancer and will transformthe Roanoke Ballroom courtyard of the Hotel Roanoke. The ribbons will be personalized with your honoree’s name.
