The PMI Michigan Thumb Chapter Presents:

Program Stakeholder Management

Presenter: Christy Wheaton

All too often, executing projects flawlessly and exactly by the book is not enough, if there are visible or invisible forces working against you or that could even be working with you that simply are not. Stakeholder engagement at the right level and knowing how to manage your stakeholders can make quite a big difference in the outcome of your program, especially as you progress in your career to higher levels of visibility. I plan to share a few concepts, tips and tricks that have worked well for me.

Christy Wheaton holds the position of Information Security Delivery Director and is responsible for providing technology vision and leadership for developing, implementing and sustaining information security solutions for Ally Financial Services.

Previously Christy has held the positions of Vice President and CIO, Motors Insurance Company (a subsidiary of Ally), CIO, Dealer Products and Services (GMAC), Enterprise Architecture (Kmart), Application Development Lead, Developer, Network and Server administrator and several Program and Project Management positions with several international and global assignments and responsibilities.

Christy holds a Master’s of Science in Business Administration with Leadership and International studies.

Christy and her husband, Tim, reside in Addison Oaks, Michigan with four of their five children
