Event Details
The Cambridge Center for Families, an organization
that supports Cambridge families with children birth-8, is holding its
annual Summer Family Fun Day. There will be games, arts & crafts
activities, face-painting, and a moon bounce for young children.
20 Volunteers are needed from 9:00am-3:00 pm on Saturday, June 25 to assist with a variety of tasks including:
· Set-up/clean-up
· activities including crafts, moonbounce, facepainting, and carnival-type games
· Preparing & serving lunch
· Registration
The
event runs from 10:00-1:30, breakfast and lunch will be provided for
volunteers. The event will take place in the field behind the Peabody
School in Cambridge, 70 Rindge Ave. There’s limited non-permit parking
on Haskell St. (next to the field), and Cambridge permit parking on the
streets surrounding the school. The closest T stop is Porter Square;
the 83 and 77 buses also run near the school.
