*EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION - We are offering Early Bird registrations for an automatic $10 off. This period will last until 3 weeks prior to the end of league registrations. Sign up early, save some money and feel comfortable knowing you secured a spot in our league. If you're a slacker, it will cost a little bit more, and you run the risk of being placed on a wait list due to the league filling up.
Flag Football Overview
Disgusted over this NFL lockout? Yeah, we are too. You can take that fury and bring it to the gridiron at Kiggins Bowl for some 7-on-7 Breakaway Flag Football. We've locked down one of the best stadiums in all of Clark County in Kiggins Bowl, and with it's amazing field turf we guarantee NO rainouts!
- 7 on 7 – mens rules. Ladies are allowed to play, but aren't required to play every down.
- This is a passing league. No rushing plays allowed.
- Teams must start the game with at least six (6) players and finish with no less than six.
- Referees for every game.
- Touchdowns are 6 points - option of 1 or 2 point extra points.
- Fumbles will be result in a dead ball. Laterals can be intercepted and returned.
- Games will consist of two (2) – 20 minutes halves, running time. The clock will stop for timeouts and for dead ball situations only in the last two (2) minutes of the game unless a team is winning by 14 or more points.
- No contact. Players cannot block at the line of scrimmage, downfield, or contact another player duing receiver routes.
- Must cross two 10-yard markers (orange cones) for a first down.
- Receivers need only one foot in bounds with possession.
- Season is 8 weeks (including playoffs).

Early Bird Registration ends Friday, June 17th at 11:00pm. The cost will then be $65 after this day and will resume until July 8th.

Sunday games will be held from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
- 1st wave of games are 10:00am - 11:00am
- 2nd wave of games are 11:00am - 12:00pm
All games will be played at Kiggins Bowl at Discovery Middle School. Three games will be played across the field simultaneously. Kiggins Bowl has an artificial playing surface, so our Flag Football is played rain, sleet, snow, alien invasions, your cousins' wedding … there will be no cancellations due to weather.
Prizes
At Breakaway Social Sports, the social is just as important as the sport. We award prizes every week to select individuals and teams, as well as each leagues championship team. But the real prize is for them having the feeling to choose the charity in need of a helping hand.
Cost
The registration fee is $65 per player. This fee includes:
- 8 weeks of games, including playoffs
- Premium facility to play at (Kiggins Bowl with field turf!)
- Referees for every game
- Game statistics posted on the website
- Game equipment

Jerseys
All individually registered players are required to wear Breakaway reversible football jerseys. We sell these jerseys for only $17 (a one-time cost). Plus, they'll look great!
Teams that are registered are not required to purchase Breakaway jerseys. However, they are required to have matching colored uniforms with numbers on the back (for statistics). We do recommend that teams purchase Breakaway jerseys because it makes the game look more organized. Plus, they can be worn for every other season thereafter.
Breakaway jerseys ($17) are sold separately, and are purchased at your first game of the season. Just bring a credit card with ID, cash, or a check made out to Breakaway Social Sports.
