Join us on May 7th for another Virginia Gold Cup event!!
The Boston College Alumni Association Washington, DC Chapter is sponsoring a Tent on University Row this year, along with Alumni Clubs from Villanova and American. We have discounted, all-inclusive tickets available for this great event - so please sign up as soon as possible.
Details on the Virginia Gold Cup are included below, as well as a tentative schedule of the event and logistics.

The Bus+Tent package includes round-trip bus transportation from Ballston, food and open bar at University Row, plus access to all other University Row tents, the common terrace area, and the common rail area.
The Tent-Only ticket includes everything above EXCEPT the bus transportation. You will need a car pass to gain access to Great Meadow (maximum 6 people per car).
Member's Hill passes allow entrance to this exclusive area outside of University Row where you can enter the Hat Competition and rub elbows with the elite. They DO NOT include transportation or entrance to University Row, but are a fun addition.
Now in its 78th year, the Virginia Gold Cup (informally known throughout the area as the "Spring Gold Cup") attracts over 50,000 people annually to see the finest horses in America and Europe compete in this prestigious race. Its tent spaces are always sold out long before race time, and its fans are a loyal following. Steeped in history and covered as an equestrian event of considerable national renown, Gold Cup is both a sports event and a grand social gathering in the hills of Virginia horse country.
