 2011: A World of Opportunity  will look at the economic and market strategy for 2011.   Mr. Ron Florance will cover three areas 1) the global economy 2) the world of risk and 3) Investment Themes for 2011.  The global perspective will consider the rise of the consumer, and financial drivers and then place the US within the global context.  After defining the risk components,  Ron will talk about how to manage assets against this global backdrop.  Finally, he will look at strategies to apply to four key areas of investment opportunity. ®

Mr. Florance chairs the Wealth Management Asset Allocation committee, is a voting

member of the Due Diligence Committee, and works closely with the Chief Investment

Officer on the Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Florance is quoted often by print and

broadcast media throughout the country.

Ronald Florance is a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Investment

Strategy. His responsibilities include providing comprehensive strategic and tactical

asset allocation, financial planning, and investment management solutions for

high-net-worth individuals, families and philanthropic entities.

Mr. Florance has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, with 15 of them

in investment management. Mr. Florance has experience managing private client

assets and mutual fund portfolios as well as developing strategic and tactical asset

allocation policies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Florance worked for Wells Fargo/Nikko

Investment Advisors as the lead portfolio manager; he later managed the quantitative

equity strategies at The Vanguard Group.

Mr. Florance earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and

Economics from Brown University. He was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst
