The purpose of the Dropout Summit is to bring together a multi-sector of diverse stakeholders to raise the visibility of the issue of school dropout and to support a collaborative call to action to ensure that all of Virginia's youth persist to graduation and be prepared for success. Registration fee secures your seat at the Summit! (Please send a copy of your registration confirmation form with your registration fee.)
A block of rooms is reserved at a conference rate at the Holiday Inn Select. Please make your own reservations.
The mission of Virginia's public education system is to educate students in the fundamental knowledge and academic subjects that they need to become capable, responsible, and self-reliant citizens. Therefore, the mission of the Virginia Board of Education and the superintendent of public instruction, in cooperation with local school boards, is to increase student learning and academic achievement.
