Dear Alumnus,

For nearly a century, newly minted graduates have joined past graduates to share the traditional New Harmony Alumni Banquet.  As the end of another school year approaches, we are fortunate to once again partake in that tradition.  As we look to the century celebration in 2012, we are asking that you send pictures of previous banquets and dances to share.  If there is enough response a PowerPoint presentation will be prepared for next year’s banquet.  You may send or bring paper copies of the pictures or send digital copies that you scan or take with your digital camera.  Send them to 4fray@att.net. 

The dinner will be in the high school gym and the dance at the Ribeyre Gym (the old gym).  As in previous years, only New Harmony graduating seniors and alumni will be permitted to attend the dinner.  Alumni and others are welcome at the dance; however, NO undergraduates will be allowed.  Your help is still needed in air conditioning Ribeyre Gym for the 100^th Banquet in 2012.  Become a member of the Century Club in honor of the 100^th Anniversary.  This will enable the committee to make the celebration really special for everyone.  Plan to participate in the Fund-a-Need auction if you attend the banquet or send your donation to the address listed here if you are not attending this year.

In an effort to be more cost efficient and not have to order extra meals, you are asked to make your reservations in advance.  Those who do not do this will pay an additional cost if you respond after the reservation deadline.  You will still be allowed to participate, but you will pay more. 

Please take advantage of the website to update addresses.  There are about two hundred missing alumni.  If you have a name of someone on your label that does not live in your house, please send the address for that person.   If you have moved recently or know someone who has, take a minute to post the new address in the guestbook or send it to fredf@nharmony.k12.in.us.  If you would like to continue to support the website a donation of $25 will make you a website sponsor. 

Thanks to your continued generous support, the Alumni Association has been able to provide scholarships to graduating seniors.  The recipients of the 2010 scholarships were:

Please return your reservation with payment by Friday, May 20, 2011.  Reservations after that date will cost you more!  We look forward to seeing you at the 99^th Alumni Banquet.
