Event Details

The New York International Salsa Congress is New York City's PREMIER Latin Dance & Music event where the world comes to dance no matter your style and/or age. Held for 3 days & 4 nights (this year September 2 - 6, 2009), every Labor Day Weekend, which was rightfully declared the Official New York Salsa Congress Weekend by Mayor Bloomberg in 2005.

For one long week besides the NYISC Launch Party, 4 Pre-Parties and Welcome Party at different locations in New York City starting the Friday - Wednesday(Aug. 28 - Sept. 2)before the event, from morning to early morning, with the purchase of a Full Pass VIP Package (Very Highly Recommended) you'll have the opportunity to choose from and enjoy:

Over 45 workshops from beginner to advanced levels in different styles of Latin dance, being taught by a list of the most sought after Instructors both nationally and internationally renowned.

Over 90 Spectacular Artist Showcases comprised of the hottest local and international dance groups from Thursday to Sunday. Not to mention our daily matinee performances starting at 6 PM which includes our Saturday matinee New York's Got Salsa Youth Showcase.
