ASMP San Diego is pleased to announce a new 4-part series of programs entitled "Anatomy of a Job." These programs will cover the lifecycle of a photography job:
- June 16th: Sales and Marketing in a Down Economy - featuring ASMP-SD President Ramon C. Purcell.
- Jul 28th: Booking The Job - featuring Todd Joyce
- Sep 15th: Delivering The Job - featuring Chris Lapp
- Nov 9th: Post-Production of The Job - featuring Eddie Tapp
Led by ASMP San Diego Co-President Ramon C. Purcell, Part 1 of the Anatomy of a Job series is titled "Sales and Marketing in a Down Economy." Ramon Purcell shares successful techniques on how to improve your business model as a professional photographer. He will cover five methods that will help overcome the challenges and obstacles of sales. It allows you to create a steady client list and increase your overall business. This applies to all levels of photographers, in this ever changing economy. In the past six months, Ramon has implemented these methods into his workflow creating a demanding itinerary of assignments while living on the road 28 of 31 days of the month; transitioning from a solo shooter, to requiring a solid team of assistants on large productions.
This May 12th event will be hosted by San Diego City College in the auditorium of the Career Technology Center, 1018 16th Street (between Broadway and C St), San Diego, CA 92101.
Check-in will begin at 6:30pm with the program beginning at 7pm. Raffle prizes will be awarded!
